Common questions

Quick answers.

What do the tiers cost?

Free collects 100 tracks, yours forever, streaming from your Uki Cloud on every device. Collector is $29/year for room to collect 1,000 tracks and lossless streaming on Wi-Fi. Audiophile is $49/year to collect 2,500 with lossless everywhere, including cellular.

Why is membership yearly?

Because a collection is built over a year, not a weekend, so a membership is a year of collecting, like a record club or a season pass. You collect all year, and everything you bring in is yours to keep for good, even after it ends. Playing, browsing, and radio stay free the whole time. Monthly plans come later, with the store and more cloud features.

What if my collection is bigger than 2,500?

Archivist ($99/year) holds 5,000 tracks, lossless everywhere. Fill it and your collection keeps growing: add another 1,000 anytime for $15/year each, as many times as you like. You only pay for the room you actually use, and everything you collect stays yours.

What changes between Free and a membership?

Playing, browsing, and radio are always free. A membership is what lets you keep collecting: Free collects 100 tracks (synced and streaming from Uki Cloud), Collector up to 1,000, Audiophile up to 2,500, each adding lossless streaming. Whatever you collect is yours to keep, on any tier.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. One tap from the Membership screen in the app, or directly from your Stripe receipt, turns off renewal so next year's charge never happens. Your membership stays active through the end of your membership year and then doesn't renew. We don't refund a partial year. Questions? Email [email protected].

Does the membership give me music to listen to?

The music in your Uki Cloud, yes. That's everything you've captured (vinyl, tape, and discs via Uki Collect, with Uki Disc and Uki One to come) plus everything you import. A membership doesn't include a streaming catalog; this is a tool for the music you already own.
